Out of respect for the residents of Cranford, Rahway, and other Union County municipalities still recovering from the effects of Hurricane Irene, Union County College is delaying the first day of classes until Tuesday, September 6. Students will be able to continue registering for classes on August 31 to September 2 without paying a late fee. Students can continue to register through September 12 and will pay a late fee. The two-day delay in the start of the term will not significantly change the academic calendar for the Fall term, which will end on December 22, 2011.
