SUMMIT, NJ — As the New Year kicks off and students begin to return to school, here are some important school dates to keep in mind for the remainder of the 2017-18 school year.

Summit Public Schools:

• Jan . 2 - Schools Reopen
• Jan. 15 (Martin Luther King Day) - No School
• Jan. 26 - Single Session for All grades / Professional Development-Staff
• Feb. 13 - Single Session for All grades / Professional Development-Staff
• Feb. 19 and 20 (President's Day) - No School
• March 14 - Single Session for All grades / Professional Development-Staff
• March 30 (Good Friday_ - No School
• April 9 to 13 - Spring Recess - No School
• May 28 (Memorial Day) - No School
• June 20 - Last Day for Students - Single Session
• June 20 - LCJSMS Graduation
• June 21 - SHS Graduation
• June 22 - Last Day for Staff - Single Session

Mountainside Public Schools:

• Jan . 2 - Schools Reopen
• Jan. 15 (Martin Luther King Day) - No School
• Jan. 29 - Half Day for Students
• Feb. 15 - Half Day for Students
• Feb. 16 and 19 (President's Day) - No School
• March 20 - Half Day for Students
• March 26-29 - Schools Closed - Spring Recess
• March 30 (Good Friday) - No School
• April 2 - Schools Reopen
• April 25 - Half Day for Students
• May 28 (Memorial Day) - No School
• June 18, 19 - 12:30 p.m. Dismissal at both Beechwood and Deerfield
• June 18 - 8th Grade Graduation
• June 19 - GLHS Graduation - Last Day of School
