Opening Weekend at the Family Aquatic Center

Summit, NJ – The Summit Family Aquatic Center will open this Saturday, May 23 through Monday, May 25. Whether renewing memberships from previous years or joining for the first time, the DCP encourages all Summit residents to join in time for opening weekend and enjoy the full 2015 season.

Celebrate Opening Weekend at the SFAC from 11 AM – 8 PM on Saturday, May 23 through Monday, May 25. The pool will remain open on weekends only until the regular season begins on June 26.

Residents may renew memberships or join as new members online 24/7 with Community Pass by visiting cityofsummit.org/recreation and clicking “Register Now,” over the phone at 908-277-2932, or in person at the Summit Community Center, 100 Morris Avenue during regular office hours.

All are required to activate their memberships prior to heading to the SFAC. For returning members, I.D. cards will be reactivated for the 2015 season upon completing registration. Lost I.D. cards may be replaced at the Community Center for a $10 fee. For all new members, proof of residency will be required prior to picking up and activating photo I.D. cards at the Community Center.

To assist with any registration needs, the Community Center will host “Late Night Registration Hours” until 7:00 PM on Thursday, May 21 and Friday, May 22. “Late Night Registration Hours” will also take place every Thursday in June until 7:00 PM.
