Both organizations are dedicated to strengthening communities and serving families which makes the collaboration a true partnership. Beyond being an organization committed to youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, the YMCA offers exceptional aquatics programs which include swim lessons, as well as an opportunity to try out for the prestigious YMCA Seals team.
The BHCP is able to leverage the YMCA's wealth of expertise across all aquatic activities including pool management, lifeguard training, swim instruction, as well as facilitate significant economies of scale in the future to help move the partnership forward. Jimmy Rath will serve as the Head Aquatic Director. He has several years of both indoor/outdoor pool experiences and has been with the Summit Area YMCA for several years. He holds certifications as a Water Safety Instructor (WSI), Lifeguard Safety Instructor (LISI) as well as a Certified Pool Operator (CPO).
