Summit Full-Day Kindergarten Lottery Now Open
The deadline for all full-day Kindergarten applications is Wednesday, Dec. 13 at 4 p.m.

SUMMIT, NJ — The full-day kindergarten lottery application and information for Summit Public Schools is now available.
The deadline for all full-day Kindergarten applications is Wednesday, Dec. 13 at 4 p.m. No late applications will be accepted for the lottery drawing; however, residents can be included (upon request) on the wait list after the lottery process is completed.
The drawing will be held on Thursday, Dec. 14 at 1 p.m., at the Board of Education Office, 14 Beekman Terrace.

To be considered, the prospective student must be a resident of Summit at the time of the lottery drawing on Dec. 14. He/she must also be 5 years of age on or before Oct. 1, 2018. Full-day Kindergarten is a tuition based program. The tuition for the 2018-2019 school year is $5,500. Tuition is reduced for families who qualify for reduced or free lunch under federal guidelines.
Interested parents or guardians should visit www.summit.k12.nj.us, click on the Schools tab, and then click on Primary Centers from the dropdown menu.
