Summit Preschool Program Lottery Now Open
Applicants must be residents of Summit and be three years old and toilet trained by Oct. 1, 2018. Students will be selected by a lottery.

SUMMIT, NJ — Applications for the 2018-2019 Summit Preschool Program are now available. Applicants must be residents of Summit and be three years old and toilet trained by Oct. 1, 2018. Students will be selected for this program by a lottery.
Preschool classes may include both three and four year old children at both Jefferson and Wilson Primary Centers. Classes will meet five days per week, Monday through Friday, except for one Friday per month that will be determined at a later date.
The morning session is from 9 to 11:30 a.m. and the afternoon session is from 12:30 to 3 p.m. The tuition for the full day program will be $3,875 per year. For those who qualify for reduced lunch according to U.S. government guidelines, tuition will be $1,162.50 and for those who qualify for free lunch, tuition will be $387.50 per year.

All applications must be returned to the Primary Centers no later than 4 p.m. on Jan. 17. The lottery drawing will be held at the Board of Education offices on Jan. 18 at 10 a.m. Special education students are included in the Preschool Program as determined by the District Child Study Team.
The applications are available on the Primary Center page at summit.k12.nj.us. They may also be obtained in person at the Primary Centers and at the Office of Special Services during school hours.
