TEANECK, NJ —The Teaneck Advisory Board on Community Relations will host the dedication of the Teaneck Friendship Flag Garden next week.
The event will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, July 13, on the Municipal Green in front of the Municipal Building marquee at the corner of Teaneck Road and Cedar Lane.
The garden, created through a partnership between the Teaneck Advisory Board on Community Relations, the Teaneck Garden Club and the Township of Teaneck, is intended to serve as a symbol of unity, diversity and community pride.
The dedication ceremony will include remarks from township officials, a special presentation by Township Poet Laureate Scott Pleasants and a community celebration.
The event is free and open to the public.
