TEANECK, NJ — Teaneck residents looking to take care of Motor Vehicle Commission business closer to home will have an opportunity next month.
The NJ MVC Mobile Unit will visit the Votee Park Fieldhouse on Palisade Avenue from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, according to an alert from the Teaneck Police Department.
Appointments will become available at 11 a.m. Tuesday through the MVC's mobile unit appointment system.
Residents can make appointments for REAL ID, registration renewals, initial permits, non-driver IDs and duplicate or replacement titles or registrations. Testing will not be offered for initial permits at the mobile unit.
Walk-ins will also be accepted for surrendering license plates, obtaining certain placards and purchasing red Graduated Driver License decals, according to the township alert.
The state MVC website lists mobile units among its appointment-based services.
