Volunteers should arrive at the Rodda Center at 9:45 a.m. Township staff will transport participants to and from cleanup locations, according to the alert.

The Department of Public Works will provide cleanup materials, including gloves, buckets, pickers and bags. Environmental Commission members will also be stationed at each location to help.

The event is open only to Teaneck residents. Children younger than 16 must bring an adult, according to organizers.

Refreshments will be served when volunteers return to the Rodda Center.

Residents can sign up for the cleanup online. The form asks volunteers for their email, name, address and the number of people joining them.
