Holy Name’s Physician Network Continues Expansion

Holy Name Adds Seven Clinicians to Growing Physician Network

Holy Name, the region's leading independent health system, today announced the addition of eight clinicians to its growing physician network. With these new healthcare professionals, Holy Name Physicians now includes more than 400 providers serving patients at locations throughout Northern New Jersey.

"Their breadth of clinical knowledge, combined with their dedication to compassionate, patient-centered care, will enhance our ability to fully support our patients and families' needs, concerns, and goals."

The following healthcare professionals joined the network:

Raed Atiyat, MD, Dr. Raed Atiyat is gastroenterologist dedicated to providing personalized, patient-centered care and helping patients make informed decisions about their digestive health. He earned his medical degree from Saint George's University School of Medicine in the West Indies and completed his residency and gastroenterology fellowship at Saint Michael's Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey. Dr. Atiyat is an accomplished researcher who has more than 40 manuscript publications and case presentations. He previously served as chief of research and chief of community outreach at Saint Michael's, where he provided community education on colorectal cancer prevention and the importance of colonoscopy screening. He sees patients in Teaneck, NJ

Evan Joiner, MD, is a fellowship-trained neurosurgeon who specializes in the treatment of complex disorders of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine, including degenerative conditions, spinal deformity, spinal tumors, and problems related to previous spine surgery. His expertise includes minimally invasive spine surgery as well as advanced spinal reconstruction. Dr. Joiner is an Assistant Professor of Neurological Surgery at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons and Research Director of the Columbia Center for Spinal Neuromodulation and Recovery. He graduated cum laude from Yale University and earned his medical degree from Columbia University, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his neurological surgery residency at NewYork-Presbyterian / Columbia University Irving Medical Center. His research focuses on developing new ways to help patients recover function after neurological injury and he is particularly interested in the use of spinal cord stimulation in people with spinal cord injury and cervical myelopathy. Through the collaboration between Holy Name and Columbia University, Dr. Joiner is proud to bring the expertise and resources of an academic spine program to patients at Holy Name. He sees patients in Teaneck.

Maryam Kazmi, DO, is a cardiologist dedicated to empowering her patients to take an active role in their health. She takes the time to understand each patient's unique needs, partnering with them to develop a personalized approach to their cardiovascular care. Dr. Kazmi earned her medical degree from Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, NJ. She completed her residency at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, where she was Chief Resident, followed by a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell Health Lenox Hill Hospital. Dr. Kazmi is proud to practice at Holy Name, where she values the combination of cutting-edge technology, clinical expertise, and patient-centered care. She sees patients at offices in Teaneck, Bayonne, Secaucus, and Belleville.

Abraham Kessler, MD, is a diagnostic radiologist dedicated to delivering accurate, clinically meaningful interpretations that help guide exceptional patient care. He feels the most rewarding aspects of his work are giving patients clarity about their conditions and collaborating closely with referring physicians to support the best possible outcomes for patients. Dr. Kessler earned his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York, completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Montefiore Medical Center, and then completed fellowship training at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan. Dr. Kessler practices at Holy Name in Teaneck.

Mukundha "Mookie" Maneyapanda, MD, a family medicine physician and a residency program director for family medicine, provides comprehensive, continuous, high-quality care to patients of all ages, from newborns to older adults. He partners with patients to develop treatment plans that reflect their individual preferences and values. He finds the most rewarding part of medicine to be building connections with patients and guiding them through vulnerable moments. Dr. Maneyapanda has more than a decade of clinical experience in northern New Jersey and is actively involved in undergraduate and graduate medical education. He has received several teaching awards, including Rowan Medical School's 2026 Preceptor of the Year award. He also serves as Team Physician for the U.S. Women's Beach Soccer National Team and Co-Chief Medical Officer for the New York Cosmos Soccer Club. Dr. Maneyapanda earned his medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and completed his residency at St. Joseph's University Medical Center in Paterson, NJ. He sees patients at the Fort Lee location.

Rebecca Rappaport, NP, is a nurse practitioner specializing in medical oncology. She understands the complex emotional and physical challenges of a cancer diagnosis and is committed to caring for each patient as a whole person. She finds fulfillment in supporting patients through some of their most vulnerable moments. Rebecca is proud to be part of Holy Name's small, close-knit community, where patients are treated like family. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Columbia University in New York.

Shoshana Reinhart, PA, is a physician assistant specializing in spine orthopedics. She believes every patient deserves to feel heard, informed, and involved in their care, and takes time to listen to each patient and answer their questions. The most rewarding part of her work is helping patients recover and return to the quality of life they value. Shoshana is proud to be part of Holy Name, where patients receive expert, personalized care from collaborative teams. She graduated from the physician assistant program at Touro College of Health Sciences in New York.
