Bloody man with machete triggers shelter-in-place at Bergen school (northjersey.com) — Parents near Teaneck Road may want to know that Ridgefield Park police quickly arrested a bleeding man carrying a machete near Grant Elementary School after the building briefly sheltered in place. Officers say the dispute stemmed from a parking complaint, the suspect was taken to a hospital under custody, and school officials report that students and staff remained safe throughout the incident.
