TEANECK, NJ — A colorful community mural in Teaneck is getting a fresh coat of paint, and volunteers are invited to help bring it back to life.
According to a Nov. 3 announcement from Teaneck Township, the Sí Se Puede mural will be repainted Sunday, Nov. 15, from noon to 4 p.m.
The event will take place in the parking lot of the Richard Rodda Center in Teaneck.
The mural features the phrase Sí Se Puede, meaning "Yes, we can," and the community repainting effort aims to preserve its message of hope and unity.
Volunteers can join neighbors and friends to help restore the artwork. Paint and other supplies will be provided, according to the township.
The afternoon will also feature a live DJ and music as community members come together to repaint the mural.
Those interested in supporting the project can also make donations through a GoFundMe campaign.
