1 Airlifted After Motorcycle-Car Crash In Beachwood: Officials

BEACHWOOD, NJ — One person was airlifted to the hospital Sunday evening following a collision between an car and a motorcycle, authorities said.

In a post on Facebook, the Beachwood Fire Department released few details but said the person was flown to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune for treatment by MONOC 1.

The crash happened at the intersection of Beachwood Boulevard and Chestnut Street shortly before 6 p.m., the fire company said. Photos posted by the fire department show a blue motorcycle and a black Kia Soul.

The crash is under investigation by Beachwood Police.
