2 Motorcycles Hit Wheelbarrow On Parkway; 2 Men Injured: State Police

The drivers of the two motorcycles were thrown from their motorcycles, state police said.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Two men were injured Sunday when their motorcycles hit a wheelbarrow that was in the middle of the Garden State Parkway, New Jersey State Police said.

The crash happened at 11:54 a.m. at milepost 85.8 southbound, State Police Sgt. Philip Curry said.

Two motorcycles hit the wheelbarrow, which caused both drivers to be thrown from the motorcycles, he said.

The two men were taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening, he said.
