What: Beachwood's Fireworks Over the Toms River
Where: Bayside Beach, Beachwood
When: July 4
The popular donation-funded pyrotechnics show that draws thousands to the banks of the Toms River will be back lighting up the sky. What: South Toms River Independence Day Event
Where: Mathis Veterans Park, Route 166, South Toms River
When: 3 p.m. until Beachwood fireworks
There will be free attractions for children and families, vendors, crafts and food. Come for the fun, stay for the Fireworks over the Toms River.

What: Seaside Heights Fourth of July Fireworks
Where: Boardwalk, Seaside Heights
When: 9:30 p.m. July 4
Fireworks return to Seaside Heights this summer every Thursday, but there's an additional 30-minute fireworks display scheduled for the Fourth of July.

What: Lavallette Patriotic Bicycle Parade
Where: 1200 Oceanfront, Lavallette
When: 9 a.m. July 3
The borough's Independence Day Patriotic Bike Parade returns to the boardwalk. The parade starting point is Philadelphia Avenue and Oceanfront.

What: Jenkinson's Independence Day Fireworks
Where: Boardwalk, Point Pleasant Beach
When: Dusk, July 4
Fourth of July fireworks return to Jenkinson's Boardwalk this summer.

What: Lavallette Patriotic Concert and Fireworks
Where: Lavallette Gazebo, Bay Boulevard
When: 8 p.m. July 11
The borough's patriotic concert and fireworks cap off the July 4th week.
