Adult, 2 Children Hit By Car In Ocean County
The three were hit while crossing a street in the early evening, police said.
JACKSON, NJ — An adult and two children were injured when they were hit by a car while crossing the street in Jackson on Friday night, police said.
The three were walking along Beam Avenue, crossing Manhattan Street, when they were hit by a 2004 Volvo sedan about 8:50 p.m., Jackson Police Officer Thomas Parise said.
All three were taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune for treatment, Parise said. There was no information on how seriously they were injured or whether they were hospitalized.

The crash remains under investigation, and Parise said anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to contact him at 732-928-1111.
