Amity Acres Day Camp hosts Open House on Saturday, March 2

Amity Acres Day Camp invites the public to an open house on Saturday, March 2, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. New campers who attend the open house will receive $20 off full weeks of basic camp, boys camp or fireflies when registered within 48 hours of attending.

Offering a camp experience like no other, Amity Acres Day Camp provides girls, ages 3-15, with a summer of adventure that focuses on Girl Scouts’ appreciation of nature and the great outdoors. Best of all, you don’t need to already be a Girl Scout! Through activities such as zip line, swimming, canoeing, climbing wall and archery, campers have the opportunity to experience exciting, girl-led outdoor adventures while learning important skills that teach valuable life lessons, like self-reliance, leadership, and perseverance.

Most importantly, at Amity Acres Day Camp, girls take the lead in an all-girl safe space where they’re free to explore, learn and have fun without the pressures and social anxiety that can result from a coed environment. That’s why, for more than a century, camping and the outdoors have been a cornerstone of the Girl Scout experience.
