New Jersey has been the home to many musicians who made it big. Join Gerard and Diane Barros for "Garden State Homegrown: A Tribute to New Jersey Musicians" at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 3 at the Brick Branch of the Ocean County Library.
Take a musical trip from the tip of Cape May to the edge of Mahwah with a lot of stops in between. The Barros will salute NJ-based artists such as Leslie Gore, Patti Smith, Bruce Springsteen, Paul Simon, Dionne Warwick, Connie Francis, the 5th Dimension, Frank and Nancy Sinatra, and more.
Gerard and Diane Barros are a husband-and-wife musical duo. Gerard accompanies Diane's vocals on guitar, keyboards, drum machine, and backing vocals, all fully live with no backing tracks. They sweep audiences back in time to the 60s and 70s with their hand-picked song selections.
