LAVALLETTE – The Upper Shores Branch of the Ocean County Library will host Gregory Andrus, author of Portraits of the Jersey Shore and operator of the social media pages of the same name, at 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 21.
After a debilitating nervous breakdown, Gregory Andrus set out to walk every single beach on the Jersey Shore, from Sandy Hook all the way down to Cape May. Join Gregory for an evening of stories, chapter readings, and open discussion as we learn about the ever-changing shore, and how we are each on our own journey.
Portraits of the Jersey Shore has over 100,000 followers on Facebook and over 10,000 on Instagram.
Andrus's books Portraits of the Jersey Shore: Everyone Has a Story, A Walk Along the Jersey Shore: A Journey of Discovery, Healing, and Transcendence, and Sea, Sand & Rescue: Lifeguards of the Jersey Shore are available to borrow for free from the OCL catalog. OCL cardholders can request their copy today by visiting tinyurl.com/AndrusOCL, or by calling or stopping by their local OCL branch.
