Back To School: Toms River Regional 2021-22 School Calendar

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Toms River, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in the Toms River Regional School District.

The first day of school for most students in Toms River is Sept. 8.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change as the coronavirus pandemic nears its year-and-a-half point. New Jersey schools are returning to full days of fully in-person instruction with no virtual option.

As of late July, the Toms River Regional district still plans to have masks optional for students and staff. Like last year, these policies could change any time before the first day.

Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:

Toms River Regional Schools

First Day: Sept. 8

Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 24 half-day, off Nov. 25-26

Winter Break: Dec. 24-Jan. 2

Spring Break: April 15-24

Last Day: June 20
