Basketball Event Set To Raise Funds For Toms River Field Of Dreams
The Slam Dunk Autism Challenge includes five games and is being hosted by the Toms River South boys basketball team.
TOMS RIVER, NJ — The Toms River South basketball team is hosting a full day of basketball games to raise money for the Toms River Field of Dreams.
The Slam Dunk Autism Challenge is set for Jan. 21 at Toms River High School South. There are five games scheduled, starting at 10 a.m. It includes a mix of girls and boys games.
The schedule is as follows:

- 10 a.m.: Toms River North vs. Allentown (Girls)
- Noon: Toms River East vs. Ocean Twp. (Boys)
- 2 p.m.: Toms River East vs. Middletown North (Girls)
- 4 p.m.: Marlboro vs. Rumson (Girls)
- 6 p.m.: Toms River South vs. Academy Charter (Boys)
Admission is $5 and the proceeds will be donated to the Toms River Field of Dreams project.
The event is being sponsored by Carl’s Fencing, Sal’s Pizza and The Sawmill Cafe.
