Beverly Dye Of Toms River Dies At 70

Dye worked for the Dover Township Parking Authority for 28 years.

Beverly Dye, 70, of Toms River, passed away at her home on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2014.

Born in Kearny, she moved to Toms River in 1976. Beverly was a parking violation officer for the Dover Township Parking Authority for 28 years prior to her retirement in 2009. She was a member of the Dover Township Junior Women’s Club and volunteered at Ocean County Mediation and Juvenile Conference.

Beverly is survived by her husband, Robert E. Dye; three sons, Robert of Atlantic Highland, Gary and wife Beckie of Toms River, and Christopher of California; and daughter, Leanne Goldate and husband James of Toms River. She is also survived by six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014 at “The Family Owned” Carmona Bolen Home for Funerals, 412 Main St., Toms River.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Beverly’s name to Lightofday.org. Condolences can be sent to: www.carmonabolenfh.com.
