BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse Proposed At Ocean County Mall
The new restaurant would be built on a new pad at the Sears end of the mall in Toms River, according to a report.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Another restaurant may be joining the mix at the Ocean County Mall, under a proposal before the Toms River Planning Board.
The restaurant would be a BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse and would be built on a separate pad at the mall near the Sears end of the property, according to a report by the Asbury Park Press.
The planning board held its first hearing on the proposal on Jan. 17. A final vote is expected at the Feb. 7 Planning Board meeting.

The Asbury Park Press reported the restaurant would be nearly 10,000 square feet but would not include a brewery onsite.
BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse offers its own craft beers, as well as typical menu fare of burgers, salads, pasta, and pizza. See the full menu here.

It has locations in 26 states, but the one in Toms River would be just the second one in New Jersey; there currently is one in Teterboro. BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse also has Pennsylvania locations in Allentown and in Lancaster, and a location on Long Island in Valley Stream, NY.
