Brunch With Santa, Holiday Craft Market Coming Up At Toms River Elks
Enjoy a holiday brunch, take a family picture with Santa, and shop for gifts from local crafters and vendors at Sunday's event.
TOMS RIVER, NJ — Festive fun continues this weekend in Toms River, as families can share brunch with Santa Claus — while also supporting a charity that helps kids with special needs.
The Plunge Committee of the Toms River Elks #1875 is hosting "Brunch with Santa" as well as a holiday craft market, on Sunday Dec. 10. There are two seatings — the first from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. and the second from 12:15 p.m. to 2 p.m.
It will be held at the Elks Lodge, 600 Washington Street, Toms River.

You may reserve a spot online to share a meal with Mr. Claus himself. Tickets will also be sold at the door, with only cash accepted on the day of the event. The price is $5 per person for kids aged 6 and under, and $10 for everyone ages 7 and older. A 50/50 drawing will also take place.
And the holiday craft market will be open to the public, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., for anyone who is looking for a locally-made gift.

Proceeds from Brunch With Santa benefit Elks Camp Moore, which is the state project for Elks lodges across New Jersey:
"Tucked away in the hill of the Ramapo Mountains, Elks Camp Moore offers a fun filled vacation away from home for children with special needs," the local Elks Lodge wrote. "A week at Elks Camp Moore is a remarkable experience not soon to be forgotten. The primary goal of the camp is to further develop the recreational and social skills of each child. In a relaxed and accepting atmosphere, each camper experiences new adventures, lasting friendships, and opportunities that promote independence and greater self-confidence."
Throughout the "plunge season," each Elks lodge helps raise funds to cover all camp costs, as campers can attend at no charge to families.
