Bus Driver Shortage In Toms River+National Merit Semifinalists
Motel tax approved, unemployment in Toms River declined and other headlines.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — The start of the 2021-22 school year has brought its share of challenges, and in the Toms River Regional School District, a bus driver shortage has led to multiple problems, including the rescheduling of some sports events.
The district has two students recognized as National Merit Scholarship semifinalists.
