TOMS RIVER, NJ — A car smashed through the glass window of a vacant building on Wednesday afternoon, causing significant damage to the building but causing no injuries, Toms River police said Thursday.
Jeanette Martin, 86, of Toms River, was trying to park her 2006 Ford Taurus in front of the office building at 833 Route 37 west when her foot slipped off the brake pedal, said Ralph Stocco, spokesman for the Toms River Police Department.
