Christmas, New Year's Garbage, Recycling Schedules In Toms River

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Toms River Township offices will be closed on Monday, Dec. 26 and Monday, Jan. 2, for the holidays.

That includes the public works department, and as a result there will be no garbage or recycling collection on those dates. The Recycling Convenience Center also will be closed.

All collections will be postponed one day, with Friday’s garbage collection picked up on Saturday, Dec. 31 and Saturday, Jan. 7.
