Cocaine, Meth Seized, Island Heights Man Charged, Prosecutor Says
The man's home was searched as part of an ongoing investigation, the prosecutor said.

ISLAND HEIGHTS, NJ — An Island Heights man is facing drug charges after cocaine and methamphetamine were seized from his home during a drug distribution investigation, the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office said Friday.
Thomas C. Koch, 60, was arrested Thursday at his home following the search, Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said.
The search was part of an ongoing investigation, and detectives seized unspecified amounts of cocaine and methamphetamine, along with drug paraphernalia indicative of illegal drug distribution and electronic devices, the prosecutor's office said.

The electronic devices are being searched by the High Tech Crime Squad and additional charges may be filed, the prosecutor's office said.
Koch has been charged with possession of less than one-half ounce of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of less than one-half ounce of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia, the prosecutor's office said.

He is being held at the Ocean County Jail pending a detention hearing.
