Comic Book Fans, Check Out Toms River Show

If you’re a fan of comic books and comic book art, you will want to check out the Jersey Show Comic Book Show, set for Sunday.

The show runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Toms River Elks Lodge 1875, 600 Washington St., Toms River. The lodge is at the corner of Washington Street and Clifton Avenue.

The show line-up includes a whole host of artists, including Alexander Simmons; Chris Ryan; Tim Fielder; Jeff Shultz; Howard Bender; Rusty Gilligan (with MAC the Cat); Paris Cullins; Joe del Beato; Eric Cooper (Knight Seeker); Javier Cruz Winnick; Steven Lisefski; Tony Townsend; Chris Townsend; Tom Schloendorn; David Hardy; Rose Arenas; Jeff Maksuta; Jacqueline Elio; Michael Grassia; Andrew DeCrescenco; Michael Pagdon; Ed Watson; Frank Vagueiro; black-and-white artist Chris Alvarez; James Rodriguez; and Mike Mastermaker from Warp Zone Graphics. Also expected are the Ghostbusters group, the 501st Legion Star Wars group and the USS Challenger Star Trek group, organizers said.

Admission to the festival is $3, children under 12 get in free. Come in costume and get in for just $1.
