The township council's reorganization meeting is set for 4 p.m. Tuesday at town hall, 33 Washington St. The agenda includes professional services appointments, a temporary budget and the approval of a meeting calendar.

There were no seats on the council up for election, so there will be no swearing-in ceremonies, but with 2023 being an election year, the council meeting may offer some insights as to what lies ahead.

The Toms River Regional Board of Education is scheduled to hold its reorganization meeting at 6 p.m. in the auditorium at Toms River High School North. The meeting agenda includes the swearing-in ceremonies for Kathleen Eagan, representing Toms River; Melissa Morrison, representing Beachwood, and Kevin Kidney, representing Pine Beach.
