Indian Hill Road is closed between Cedar Grove Road and Bay Avenue, Toms River police said. About a dozen homes nearby are without electrical service, according to the First Energy outages map. Every day in May is for MOM.
Join the Mathis House at 600 Main Street to experience a five-course Victorian Afternoon Tea with gourmet tea, warm scones, seasonal soup, a mixed green salad, a variety of tea sandwiches, and a plate of desserts. The mansion will be filled with live piano music, and self-guided tours are available with every visit. The seating times are 11 AM and 3:00 PM every weekend in May.
The cost is $50 per person, $20 for children 12 and under, and children five and under are free with an adult. Seniors and military are $10 off mid-week. Mid-week seating times begin at 11 AM and are held every hour on the hour until 4 PM.
