Demolition Portion of Dover Mall Project Nears End
Jason's Furniture, bank, now being torn down
Since the complete rebuild of the Dover Mall at Route 37 and 166 in Toms River has been one of demolition. First then the side mall and, next the self-standing before came down.
All that’s left to fall is the portion now only containing, and even that is slowly coming down although the store will remain open throughout it all.
Staples, which is in the middle of the remaining portion, is sandwiched between empty stores that once was a casino school and a Jason’s Furniture, most recently.

The portion was the last to close in the Dover Mall.
Construction crews chipped away at the back portion of Jason’s Furniture, demolishing the former bank and Labor Ready storefronts in the back of the property.

While the portions where Bradlees and movie theater once stood are now being leveled, the former ShopRite is a mountain of rubble from around the property.
The project includes a new , Staples, liquor store among the tenants of a rebuilt Dover Mall.
