Dog Park Coming To Silverton In Toms River
Dogs must be licensed in Toms River to use the park, officials said.
TOMS RIVER, NJ — Toms River residents will have a place to walk their dogs or allow them to run off-leash, after the Township Council approved a new dog park in the Silverton section of town.
The park, off Maine Street, will include vinyl fencing 4 to 10 feet high, pet waste stations, a walking path, new landscaping, benches and recycling bins and parking.
The contract for $240,035 was awarded to Vulcan Construction in July, and the park is anticipated to be open in October, subject to availability of materials and weather conditions.
