Dover Road Closed In South Toms River After Crash

SOUTH TOMS RIVER, NJ — Dover Road is closed Tuesday afternoon at Cornell Road while a motor vehicle crash is cleaned up, authorities said.

The Ocean County Sheriff's Office and South Toms River police sent alerts about the crash shortly after 2 p.m.

Police said the crash caused a fuel spill that has to be cleaned up, which is forcing the road closure. There was no estimate of how long the closure will be in place.

There were no details immediately available about the crash.
