Downed Pole Closes Road In Toms River: Sheriff

A car accident with a downed pole has closed Bay Avenue and is causing delays in Toms River, the sheriff's office said.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — A car accident that took down a pole is currently causing delays in Toms River as of Tuesday afternoon, the Ocean County Sheriff's Office said.

The downed pole, on Bay Avenue in the area of Twin Oaks, has closed Bay Avenue between Cedar Grove and Tunesbrook as of 3 p.m. on Aug. 15, officials said.

Officials did not say how long the closure would last.
