Downed Wires Close Toms River Street: Sheriff's Office

Drivers should avoid the area of Whitesville Road and Cox Cro Road because of downed wires, the Ocean County Sheriff's Office said Friday.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Drivers in Toms River are cautioned to avoid a road in the north of the township as of 9:45 a.m. Friday.

Whitesville Road and Cox Cro Road are closed due to downed wires, the Ocean County Sheriff's Office said.

Drivers are asked to use an alternate route.
