Downtown Toms River Night Out Returns: Monday Manual
The Toms River Township Council and Toms River Regional school board have meetings, as does the zoning board.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Welcome to the May 9 edition of Monday Manual, where we highlight events coming up during the week in Toms River.
It's a busy week, with township meetings and the Board of Education committee meetings, along with the return of the Downtown Toms River Night Out evenings.
The Township Council meeting is set for 6 p.m. Wednesday at town hall, 33 Washington St. The agenda was not available as of Friday.

Also on Wednesday, the Toms River Regional Board of Education will hold its committee meetings. The committee meetings provide updates on everything from curriculum to progress on the referendum projects. The meetings begin at 6:30 p.m.
On Thursday, the township's Zoning Board of Adjustment is scheduled to meet at 6:30 p.m. at town hall. The agenda had not been posted as of Friday but should be available before Thursday.

The Downtown Toms River Night Out returns Friday and Saturday, with Washington Street set to be blocked off to traffic so diners can enjoy a night dining outside with live entertainment.
On Saturday, Toms River Fire Company No. 2 will be celebrating its 100th Anniversary with a fire truck parade through downtown Toms River followed by a celebration in Huddy Park with live music, food trucks, a beer garden, and fun for all ages. There is an award ceremony set for after the parade with trophies for all types of apparatus.
