Drainage Work Disrupting Washington Street Traffic In Toms River
Road closures and traffic delays will persist for several days, officials said.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Toms River drivers will want to avoid Washington Street through Friday due to ongoing construction, officials said Tuesday.
The Ocean County Road Department is doing a drainage installation project along Washington Street, and traffic will be disrupted from Lexington Avenue to Whittier Avenue, according to the county.
The Ocean County Sheriff's Department warned of delays due to the work, which involves some road closures.
