Emergency Road Work Causing Route 37 Delays In Toms River

Police say the work is expected to continue into Wednesday.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Toms River police are urging motorists to plan extra travel time due to emergency road work on Route 37 eastbound near Mule Road on Tuesday.

The work is causing traffic delays between Walmart and Mule Road, the Ocean County sheriff's office said.

The police department said the road work is expected to extend into Wednesday.
