All-Star Sports Academy Celebrates 4th Anniversary with Reception, Workout, and Dodgeball Tournament

Toms River, NJ - On Saturday, April 28, 2012, All-Star Sports Academy will celebrate its 4th anniversary with an open reception, member/guest family bootcamp workout, and dodgeball tournament.

Beginning at 3:00 p.m., All-Star staff, including partners, Brian Blue and Phil Hueston, will meet and welcome members and guests at a pre-workout reception in the "Athlete Underground," 1740 Route 9 South, Toms River.  The 4:00 p.m. family bootcamp workout is limited to 40 members and their guests.

A dodgeball tournament, co-sponsored by the Jersey Shore Hurricanes basketball organization, will be begin at 6:00 p.m.  TEAM PRE-REGISTRATION, including team name, 6-8 person member roster, and registration fee of $75.00, must be received no later than Wednesday, April 25th.  Teams not officially registered by April 25th will be admitted to the tournament on a limited, first-come basis.

Prizes will be awarded to the tournament winners, as well as to the teams with the best name and best uniform.  A portion of the registration fee will be donated to the Jersey Shore Hurricanes basketball organization.

All-Star Sports Academy is the only sports and family fitness facility in Ocean County. Utilizing unique, science-based exercise philosophy and techniques that combine strength and conditioning, speed and agility, mobility, aerobic endurance, and injury prevention, All-Star's programs attract all ages from 6 to 60+, regardless of exercise experience or ability.

Some notable clients who have incorporated the "Athlete Underground's" training include UFC Champion Frank "the Answer" Edgar, Cincinnati Reds Todd Frazier, Stanford University's Meredith Kalinowski, former TRHS East Lacrosse Captain, Div. 1 Elon University Freshman Jesse Tate, former TRHS North Mariner Football Captain, Ashley Conroy, Mon Don HS Alum and All-American Swimmer, and the Rutgers University Wrestling Team.
