River—A Howl-O-Ween parade and dog adoption day is
scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 6 from 9 am- 12 noon at Cattus Island County Park, Fischer Blvd. Toms River.
This free event is sponsored by the Ocean County Parks and Recreation Department.
The Dog Day includes doggy adoptions, as well as information, displays and demonstrations. Local shelters will highlight the animals available for adoption.
The day ends with a pet costume parade. The prizes will be for the best dog/owner combo, most original, scariest and funniest. Join the free parade, or come to watch.
All dogs must be vaccinated and on a leash. For additional
