Toms River Dunkin Donuts participate in National Doughnut Day

Today, Friday, June 1, 2012 we celebrate National Doughnut Day.

All US Dunkin Donuts are participating and Grocery stores , 7-11's and other such places that sell donuts are likely to be particpating in the celebration of National Doughnut Day by giving away a free donut.

According to history of this sweet holiday, National Doughnut (aka donut) Day is on the first Friday of June each year, succeeding the Donut Day event created by the Salvation Army in 1938 to honor the women who served donuts to soldiers during World War I.
