The Toms River Regional Schools Special Education Parent Teacher Association (SEPTA) is hosting a Zumbathon Charity event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 28 to raise funds and awareness for their special needs population. The funds raised will be used to purchase technology for the special education program. Additionally, a percentage of the proceeds will be donated to Autism Speaks in recognition of Austism Awareness month.
The event will take place at The John Bennett Indoor Athletic Complex (located between Hooper Elementary School and Toms River Intermediate East) at 1519 Hooper Ave., Toms River. Admission is $5 for individuals (children 5 and under are free). Group rate of up to 10 people is $35. Vendor fees are $50.
The event will include games, activities, giveaways and vendors. You may regiser in advance at http://www.trschools.com. Registration will also be available day of the event.
