"Walk the Boards" Walking Program

The Ocean County Department of Parks and Recreation will be conducting a “Walk the Boards” walking
program. Walkers will meet at a variety of boardwalk locations through out the county.

There will be four- one hour walks scheduled to begin Tuesdays, May 1 to May 22, meeting time at 10 a.m. The following is location and date of the walks:

May 1: Point Pleasant Beach, Police Sub Station, Arnold Ave. & Boardwalk

May 8: Island Heights, Pavilion on Central and River Avenues

May 15: Ocean Gate, Wildwood and E. Longport Avenues

May 22: Seaside Park, J Street Pavilion & Boardwalk

The fee is $6 for the series of four walks and is for all ages.

Please note program # 123534-1A when registering. To register, send a check made payable to “County of Ocean” to: Ocean County Parks and Recreation, 1198 Bandon Road, Toms River, NJ 08753. Please provide name, address and daytime telephone number, along with program # when registering.
