On April 28 the Toms River Library will recognize World Tai Chi and Qigong Day with a special event. The event begins at 9:30 a.m. Wear comfortable clothing, as you'll be able to participate in the practice of both exerices. Benefits of health and healing from these age-old practices will be discussed.
Tai chi and Qigong are traditional Chinese movement exercises. Tai chi is a series of movements done either very slowly or quickly to help move the body's chi. Qi gong involves different movements that may be done in different orders.
