Fashion, Welding, Fishing, Robotics: Toms River Expo Has That And More
The TR Excellence Expo is bringing a wealth of hands-on activities and info to the community, including wellness and environmental ideas.
TOMS RIVER, NJ — Do you want to learn about welding? Are you interested in the outdoors? Seeking wellness tips and information?
The TR Excellence Expo is returning for the second year to the RWJ Barnabas Health Arena. It is set for 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 20, at the arena on the campus of Toms River High School North.
The 2023 expo will include a Green Fair and will showcase the achievements and talents of students across the Toms River Regional district, as it did for 2022.

There are several new elements this year, the district said.
There will be a Wellness Fair, with health and wellness information, and a runway fashion show.

The Ocean County Vocational-Technical Schools are bringing an outdoor excavator and welding station for demonstrations, and there will be hands-on activities at the mobile education trailer of the New Jersey Division of Fish and Wildlife.
There are robotics and STEAM demonstrations planned, digital arts and video production, an art show and live musical performances.
The mobile sensory trailer for those who struggle with sensory issues will be on site as well.
