Firefighters Battling 'Very Bad' House Fire In Toms River: Police
Breaking: The fire is in the northern section of the township near the Lakewood border. Reports say one person was rescued from the home.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Firefighters are on the scene of a heavy fire in a two-story home in Toms River, police confirmed Tuesday.
The fire, at a home on Fiddlers Run, has prompted a general alarm, according to radio transmissions. Toms River police confirmed the fire and characterized it as a "very bad fire."
The Fireground buff network Facebook page reported a floor collapsed in the home while firefighters were battling the blaze and said the home was "fully involved."

Firefighters from Brick and Jackson were assisting Toms River firefighters, who responded from all of the town's fire companies, according to reports and radio traffic.
Jersey Shore Hurricane News reported at least one person was rescued from the fire.
