Football: Toms River North Rolls Over Marlboro
Parker Day scores three touchdowns for the Mariners

Toms River North won its second straight game, beating Marlboro 48-12 in a Shore Conference nondivisional game on Thursday night in Marlboro, according to the Shore Sports Network.
Quarterback Mike Husni ran for one touchdown and passed for another, hitting wideout Darrion Carrington for the score, as the Mariners improved to 3-1. The game was played on Thursday because of the Jewish holiday of Yom Kippur, which begins at sundown Friday.
Parker Day had three touchdowns and Bryce Watts scored a touchdown on a 60-yard punt return.

Toms River North travels to Jackson Memorial next Friday for a 7 p.m. game.
