Frazier's Homer Shows Heart in Reds Win
Toms River native makes national headlines for Major League effort

Over the course of his baseball career Todd Frazier has made headlines for helping his teams win from his time in Toms River to his stint in the Jersey Shore Baseball League all the way up through Rutgers University and now the Cincinnati Reds.
Last week Frazier's bat once again drew attention to the third baseman but not because it helped his team win. According to the team's website Frazier hit a home run that not only helped the Reds but also their batboy Teddy Kremer.
During last Thursday night's game Kremer, who has Down syndrome told Frazier to hit a home run for him even with the Reds leading 9-1. "He is so funny. He said, 'Hit me a home run, man, I love you.' I said, 'I love you, too. I'll hit you one.' It was great," Frazier said. "I started smiling before I hit home plate."

This was not Kremer's first time helping out his favorite team. He also worked a game last summer and according to the story was so well liked that he was asked back again last week.
In his excitement at watching Fazier clobber the shot measured at 421 feet Kremer reportedly forgot to retrieve the player's bat but all that was forgotten as the team went on to get the win.
