Garbage Collection In Toms River Pushed To Saturday By Snow
The snowfall Friday and the need to plow forced the town to push back regular and extra sanitation pick-ups, officials said.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Toms River residents who were expecting their trash or recycling to be picked up Friday should leave the cans out for Saturday.
Township officials said that because of the snow Toms River received Friday, the sanitation pick-ups were delayed to Saturday. The snow reached 4 inches, the depth at which crews can plow it, about the same time as sanitation pick-ups would have been happening.
For those who normally receive extra trash or recycling pick-ups on Fridays, those will be collected on Monday, officials said.
